PSL Consulting (formerly Powers Straker)

Each consulting assignment is handled by results oriented principal consultants from the beginning to the end of a project. Our principals have extensive experience as managers, consultants and higher education administrators. Our recommendations are based not just on theories and expert knowledge of compensation, benefits and human resource issues, but also on a foundation of relevant experience that helps us achieve organizational goals cost effectively.

We do not act as a broker and do not represent insurance companies to sell their products. We do not accept commissions or any compensation from insurance carriers for employee benefits plans we aggressively negotiate (but may if instructed to do so by the client). We help our clients control spiraling health care costs through creative plan design, detailed analysis of claims costs and utilization trends, and development of alternative funding strategies.
